Recent reports indicate that South Korean company Samsung is about to launch the Galaxy F62 in India as its next F series smartphone. Flipkart started teasing the arrival of the new phone last weekend. Its login page only glanced at the device without mentioning its name. Now, the list has been updated and contains a lot of important information. The statement stated that the Galaxy F62 will be opened on February 15. In addition, it also revealed the front and back design of the device.
The Galaxy F62 will make its debut in India on February 15th at 12 pm. As can be seen from the image, it has a perforated screen with a square camera module on the back of its gradient color, and an LED flash underneath it. In addition, it has a side fingerprint reader.
Last week, popular promoter Mukul Sharma claimed that the Galaxy F62 is powered by a flagship processor and its performance is better than Snapdragon 765G. A list of the phones discovered by Geekbench in November showed that the phone is powered by the Exynos 9825 chipset.
F62’s updated list on Flipkart has now confirmed that it is indeed powered by the Exynos 9825 chipset. Previously, Samsung used the same processor to power the Galaxy Note 10 series in 2019.
Another leak last week revealed that the Galaxy F62 has a 6.7-inch AMOLED display and is equipped with a 7,000mAh battery. The leak also revealed other specifications, such as 8 GB of RAM, 128 GB of native storage, Android 11 OS based on One UI 3.1, 32-megapixel front camera and 64-megapixel quad camera setup. It is rumored that the price of this phone is less than 25,000 rupees (about 343 US dollars).
