After Apple announced the launch of the new M1 chip for Mac, it announced the launch of two new MacBooks with the new processor. The first is MacBook Air, and the other is 13-inch MacBook Pro.

The new MacBook Air is the first processor to use an Arm-based processor. The performance and battery life of this laptop have been amazingly improved, and it has maintained the starting price of $999 for the previous generation ($899 for the education version).
With the new M1 processor, the graphics processing speed of the MacBook Air is increased by 5 times, the CPU speed is increased by 3.5 times, the machine learning speed is increased by 9 times, and the battery life on a single charge is up to 18 hours, which is the longest of the MacBook Air air.
Apple said that it has also removed the cooling fan, so it has no sound, but it remains to be seen how well it keeps cooling.
The new MacBook Air has a 13.3-inch Retina display with a P3 wide color gamut. It can be configured with up to 16GB of RAM and 2TB of SSD storage, and Apple claims that its speed is increased by 2 times. It has Touch ID, Bluetooth 5.0, Wi-Fi 6 and secure zone.
There are two USB-C ports for charging, and it also supports DisplayPort, Thunderbolt 3 and USB 3.1 Gen2. There is also an audio jack on the right side of the laptop. It runs macOS Big Sur out of the box.
The new MacBook Air is available in gold, silver and dark gray, and can be pre-ordered immediately before its release on November 17 next week.
13-INCH MACBOOK PRO.
The new 13-inch MacBook Pro is also equipped with an Apple M1 processor, and its performance has been greatly improved.
It is said that the CPU speed has increased by 2.8 times, the GPU speed has increased by 5 times, and the machine learning speed has also increased by 11 times compared with the previous generation of Intel processors.
Its battery life of up to 17 hours of web browsing and up to 20 hours of video playback is the longest of all Macs.
The new laptop also has a 13.3-inch Retina display and a touch bar above the Magic Keyboard. It has 8GB and 16GB RAM configurations and a storage capacity of up to 2TB.
All configurations have the same -core CPU and 8-core GPU. It has two Thunderbolt/USB 4 ports, an audio jack, an HD camera that uses the M1 chip to reduce noise and adjust white balance and exposure, a studio-quality three-microphone array, Touch ID and Wi-Fi 6.
The new 13-inch MacBook Pro starts at $1,299 ($1,199 for the education version), is available in space gray and silver colors, and is available for pre-order. It will go on sale on November 17.
