US based tech giants Apple has moved the manufacturing of some of its Air pods From China to Vietnam, according to multiple reports online.
Most of Apple’s air pods were assembled in China, but new products in markets shows a message at the back that the product was assembled in Vietnam.
Apple assembles a large majority of its products in China, but with recent development such as the Corona Virus pandemic, and the ongoing trade war between the US and China that has seen tariffs imposed on some Apple’s products, the company has shown interest in, and even made sizable foreign investments toward, diversifying its manufacturing.
For now it not clear the percentage of Air pods that Apple wants to assemble in Vietnam, or the plan to manufacture more products in the country.
