French car manufacturer Citroën began production of its portable small electric car Ami this year. The company started selling the car in June 2020 and is now available in certain parts of Europe but not in UK.
There are signs that Citroen may soon introduce Ami to the Chinese market. A Weibo user said that electric cars were recently spotted on the streets of Wuhan, apparently it is being tested.
The wheels and body are painted with bright red paint. The car was released in Europe this month and was previously a Citroen concept car.
The body of the Citroen Ami has a large area of transparent glass and a panoramic glass sunroof to ensure a good line of sight. The car can accommodate two people.
