Galaxy S21 Ultra

In addition to the Galaxy S21 and Galaxy S21+, Samsung also released the Galaxy S21 Ultra, following the Galaxy S20 Ultra model announced last year. Galaxy S21 Ultra is a special phone because it is the first Galaxy S series smartphone that supports S Pen.

This is not only a larger model, but also a phone with more features. It also has an Infinity-O display with a center punch and has the same contour cut camera housing, which is larger due to having more cameras.

The phones are Phantom Black, Phanom Silver, Phantom Titanium, Phantom Navy and Phantom Brown. The last three colors are exclusive to

The Galaxy S21 Ultra has a curved 6.8-inch Quad HD+ dynamic AMOLED 2X display, covered with Gorilla Glass Victus. It also has an adaptive refresh rate of 120Hz (10Hz to 120Hz), and users can also choose to select the highest resolution and highest refresh rate at the same time.

Samsung said that the display has a peak brightness of 1500 nits, the highest brightness on a Galaxy smartphone. Contrast has also increased by 50%, and the image brightness of the display is 25% higher than that of the Galaxy S20.

Just like its siblings, this phone also has Exynos 2100 and Snapdragon 888 variants. However, the Galaxy S21 Ultra has more memory than other models.

The basic model has 12GB LPDDR5 RAM, and 128GB and 256GB storage versions are available. The phone also has a 16GB RAM variant with 512GB of storage space.

Galaxy S21 Ultra is the first Galaxy S phone that supports S Pen, so you can get S Pen functionality in the operating system.

This is a nice addition, but we think Samsung should have provided the stylus for free, but since you didn’t even see the charger, it’s no surprise that there is no built-in stylus in the box.

The S Pen of the Galaxy S21 Ultra is different from the S Pen of the Galaxy Note 20. It does not have a battery, so these techniques and gestures cannot be used.

If you don’t want to buy the S Pen for $ 40 (or $ 70 if you choose to buy a case that has room for the S Pen), you can purchase a Wacom stylus as that will work too.

There is a 5000mAh battery in the phone with support for 25W wired fast charging (seriously Samsung?). That’s slower than the 45W Galaxy S20 Ultra wired fast charging. You also get support for wireless charging and support for reverse wireless charging.

The Galaxy S21 Ultra has an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner in the display, IP68 protection, NFC and is the first smartphone to support Wi-Fi 6E. Works with One UI 3 based on Android 11 out of the box.

In addition to the support for the S Pen, the camera department is another major differentiating area between the Galaxy S21 Ultra and its siblings.

The phone has four rear cameras, including a 12MP f / 2.2 Dual Pixel AF ultra-wide sensor with a 120-degree field of view, a 108MP f / 1.8 0.8µm camera with OIS and PDAF, and a 10MP f with OIS / 2.4 Dual Pixel camera, and 3x optical zoom, and 10MP dual-pixel AF periscope zoom camera with OIS and 10x optical zoom. The selfie camera is a 40MP f/2.2 sensor with PDAF.

Galaxy S21 Camera

108MP is an upgrade of S20 Ultra. It uses 9-in-1 pixels to merge to 12MP. The phone also supports 4K 60fps video recording using all its five cameras. There is a laser focusing module, and the telephoto camera can bring 100x space zoom.

The Galaxy S21 Ultra starts at $1,199, and the pre-order includes a pair of free new Galaxy Buds Pro and a SmartTag. Like its siblings, there is no 4G version. Pre-orders will start today and will go on sale on January 29.
