Former Huawei subsidiary, Honor has announced a new wireless car charger that we believe should launch alongside the Honor V40 Phone in January Next year.
The model of Honor SuperCharge wireless car charger is CK030, which was certified on December 23. The charger is black with a mirror coating on the front and the manufacturer’s name engraved on it.
If this charger looks familiar, then you are right, because Honor SuperCharge wireless car charger is a revised Huawei SuperCharge wireless car charger (maximum 50W) launched with the Mate 40 series a few months ago.
Even the Vmall list of Huawei’s car chargers also marked its model as CK030, further confirming that Honor has relabeled it.
Instead of manufacturing a special 45W wireless car charger, Honor just re-labeled the 50W Huawei charger for Honor V40.
Since this is a relabeling, the function should be the same. Therefore, Honor SuperCharge wireless car charger would have a proximity sensor to control the mounting arm, a cooling fan and up to 16 layers of protection. It should also have a USB-C port and a barrel-shaped power input port.
Huawei’s wireless charger is priced at 329 yen (approximately 50 yen), and we expect the Honor SuperCharge wireless car charger to have a similar price tag when it is launched.
