A recent report shows that Honor has postponed the launch of the Honor V40 series to January 18. Before the rumor was released, the specification sheet of the Honor V40 smartphone has been published via Weibo (via Mydrivers).
HONOR V40 SPECS (RUMOURED) :
According to the leak, the Honor V40 measures 163.32 x 74.08 x 7.85mm and weighs about 184 grams. It is equipped with a 6.72-inch OLED screen with a perforated design and an 80-degree curvature on the edge. The screen supports full HD+ resolution with 1236 x 2676 pixel resolution, 1.07 billion colors, 120Hz refresh rate and 300Hz touch sampling rate. It has a 32-megapixel front camera.
The back shell of the phone has a four-camera setup, and you can use a Sony IMX766 50-megapixel main lens or a 64-megapixel camera as the main shooter.
The main lens will be combined with an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, a 2-megapixel depth sensor and a 2-megapixel macro camera.
The Dimensity 1000+ chipset will provide the device with 8 GB LPDDR4x RAM and 128 GB / 256 GB UFS 2.1 storage.
The device will be equipped with a 4,000mAh battery (rated at 3,900mAh). The phone supports 66W fast charging and 45W fast wireless charging technology.
The OLED panel of Honor V40 is equipped with a fingerprint scanner. It will also support 2D face unlocking. In order to increase storage space, the device is also equipped with an NM card slot.
The device has been pre-installed with Android 10 OS based on Magic UI 4.0. Leak has no information about the price of the equipment.
Presumably, there are two models of Honor V40 series. The model of the above model may be YOK-AN10. Other models may have NWE-AN10 model. Recently it was found on the GameBench benchmark site that the latter has a 90Hz refresh rate display and Dimensity 1000+ chip.
