Honor V40

HONOR V40 SPOTTED IN AN OFFLINE STORE IN CHINA.

On January 18, Honor will launch the Honor V40 smartphone in China. Although there are several leaks showing the front design of the V40, its rear appearance remains a mystery. A Weibo user managed to find a V40 poster in an offline store in China. The poster reveals the front and back design of the smartphone.

As can be seen from the poster, Honor V40 can be seen in three colors on the poster, such as black, blue and peach/orange. The blurred image shows a rectangular camera housing in the upper left corner of the rear housing. The main sensor is at the top, followed by the other three sensors and an LED flash.

The Chinese in the poster shows that the Honor V40 is equipped with a 50-megapixel ultra-sensitive imaging lens as the main shooter. Recent reports claim that the main camera of the V40 may be a Sony IMX766 lens.

On the front, it has a double perforated screen with curved edges. Reports say it may install the same 6.72-inch OLED FHD+ panel, available on the Huawei Nova 8 Pro.

Therefore, it is expected to support 10-bit color depth, 120Hz refresh rate and 300Hz touch sampling rate. The display of the V40 can be integrated with a fingerprint scanner.

Diorsity 1000+ SoC is likely to appear under the hood of Honor V40. It may be equipped with LPPDR4x RAM, UFS 2.1 memory and 4,000mAh battery, which supports 66W fast charging. 45W wireless charging technology is also likely to come out.

The device will be pre-loaded with the Android 10 operating system based on Magic UI 4.0.
