Chinese giant Huawei is currently formulating strategies to maintain the continuous development of its business.
The company is preparing to launch a new device on the market before the end of this year. The product is expected to be a desktop computer.
According to the report, the upcoming Huawei desktop will be powered by the company’s own Kunpeng 920 chipset and AMD’s graphics processor. The leaked data may be Radeon R7 430.
It is said that the device will be equipped with a 23.8-inch display that can be used for commercial purposes.
Although the exact product is unclear, it may be the same computer that was previously leaked. Previous leaks indicate that the device can pack 8GB DDR4-2666 RAM and 256GB SSD storage.
It is also expected to have an optical drive, keyboard, mouse, 180W power supply and the company’s own Kylin operating system.
The Huawei HiSilicon Kunpeng 920 chipset is manufactured using a 7-nanometer process and is based on the ARM architecture launched in 2019.
It has high performance and is usually targeted at workstations or larger server-based applications.
The Chinese giant has entered the notebook category through Huawei and Honor brand equipment, and is currently seeking to enter the desktop and monitor category for some time.
It will be interesting to see Huawei compete with companies such as HP and Dell in this area.
