LENOVO LEGION 5 GAMING LAPTOP LAUNCHED IN INDIAN MARKET.

Lenovo Legion 5 Laptop

Chinese technology giant Lenovo has launched the Legion 5 gaming laptop for the Indian market. Legion 5 follows the latest releases of Gaming 3i, Legion 5i and Legion 7i, all of which are supported by the 10th generation Intel mobile processors.

What sets this apart from the others is the AMD Ryzen chipset onboard which is amassing quite a number of backers in recent times.

The Lenovo Legion 5 Gaming laptops available in India uses Ryzen 5 4600H processors.

Recall that this notebook was first launched for the global market in July this year, and a higher version with AMD Ryzen 7 4800 H series mobile processors is available.

The retail price of this Ryzen 5 model in India is 75,990 rupees ($1,030), but the Phantom Black color option is priced at 79,990 rupees ($1,080) on the Lenovo India website.

In terms of design, Legion 5 uses the same design language as Legion 7i. However, it lacks the shiny RGB lighting that makes the high-end Legion 7i stand out.

As for the specifications, the gaming laptop is equipped with a 15.6-inch IPS anti-glare display with a full HD resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. The display also supports 120Hz refresh rate.

The processor is supported by 8GB DDR4 RAM (clock frequency is 3200MHz). The graphics function is provided by NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 Ti GPU, which has 4GB of GDDR6 memory.

For storage, Legion 5 includes 256GB M.2 PCIe 3.0×4 NVMe SSD and 1TB HDD. In terms of ports and connectivity, the laptop is equipped with four USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports, one USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C port, one Ethernet (RJ-45) and a headphone/microphone combo jack.

The laptop is also equipped with standard Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.0. Lenovo also claims that the laptop can provide up to 8 hours of battery life when used in “hybrid mode.”

Legion 5 gaming laptops can be purchased from Lenovo.com and Lenovo Exclusive Stores.

Lenovo also promised to provide gaming laptops on other online partner platforms and retail stores.
