Last August, Lenovo released Tab P11 Pro, which is a tablet computer with Snapdragon 730G technology with 2K OLED display and JBL speakers. The tablet was subsequently announced in China as Lenovo Xiaoxin Pad Pro and the standard version Lenovo Xiaoxin Pad. Now, Lenovo brings the latter into the global market as Lenovo Tab P11.
In terms of design, Lenovo Tab P11 and Lenovo Xiaoxin Pad are the same. Therefore, you will get a tablet with an aluminum alloy chassis and medium bezels, and you can choose from slate gray or platinum gray.
The Lenovo Tab P11 has an 11-inch 2K display (2000 x 1200) IPS LCD display and a TÜVRheinland-certified Eye Care mode. It is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 662 processor and has 6GB of RAM and 128GB of expandable storage. There is also a 4GB RAM + 64GB version that is not available in China.
On the back of the tablet is a 13MP camera, while an 8MP camera is on the front, allowing video calls and occasional selfies with this size tablet.
Lenovo has added a “smart privacy” feature that can blur the background during a video call (this should come in handy for applications that don’t have a built-in background blur function).
Although a laptop of this size is perfect for watching movies and TV shows (high-definition streaming via Netflix), Lenovo hopes that you can also use it for serious work.
Therefore, there is an optional ultra-thin keyboard, its trackpad can be well connected to the tablet for typing documents or blog posts, and its magnetic cover has a bracket to help complete the conversion to two in one .
You can also pick up the Lenovo Precision Pen 2 stylus with 4096-level pressure sensitivity. The battery life of the stylus is up to 200 hours and can be charged via USB-C.
The tablet has Wi-Fi 6, LTE, Bluetooth 5.1, audio jack, Dolby Atmos four speakers and USB-C port. It is equipped with a 7700mAh battery and supports 20W fast charging.
It comes with Android 10, which is not surprising, but we hope it can be upgraded to Android 11. It has pre-installed Microsoft Office applications. If you want to give it to your child, you can use Google’s Kids Space.
Other accessories available for the Lenovo Tab P11 include Lenovo Smart Charging Station 2, which is actually a docking station for hands-free mobile viewing while charging (or you only need a protective cover with a stand).
There is also a portfolio cover with modern fabric design. Lenovo said the tablet will start at $229.99 and is available for purchase now, but the Lenovo US store said it will launch soon. The price of the accessories was not disclosed.
