The release of the OnePlus 9 series is just around the corner. The company’s latest flagship product is expected to be launched in the first half of this month, but a new report shows that the series will be launched on March 23, 2021.
According to the well-known tipster Mukul Sharma (@StuffListings) on Twitter, the OnePlus 9 lineup may be unveiled on the 23rd of this month. This runs counter to the previous reports and signs of the Chinese technology giant, which is expected to release a new smartphone on March 8, 2021. In other words, it seems that this is just speculation at the moment.
Talking about the upcoming series, the company is expected to launch three new models in the OnePlus 9 series, including the basic version, the Pro variant, and another new model called OnePlus 9r or 9E. The third variant can even be called OnePlus 9 Lite. Unfortunately, the official name is still unknown and so we would have to wait for official renderings from the company.
For specifications, the Pro is expected to be equipped with a 6.7-inch Fluid AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 120Hz. It will be equipped with a Snapdragon 888 processor equipped with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage space.
On the other hand, the “Lite” version may be equipped with Snapdragon 865 chipset, 1080p 90Hz display, 64MP main camera sensor, 8MP ultra-widescreen, 5,000mAh battery, 8GB RAM and 128GB storage space. Therefore, please stay tuned as we would be updating you as the news unfolds.
