Qualcomm recently launched the Snapdragon 480 5G mobile platform for budget-friendly 5G phones. The report shows that brands such as Vivo, OPPO, Xiaomi and some other brands will release SD480-powered mobile phones in the first quarter of 2021. Last week, Vivo Y31s 5G made its debut in China, becoming the world’s first smartphone to support Snapdragon 480. Today, OPPO announced the OPPO A93 5G mobile phone equipped with Snapdragon 480.
OPPO A93 5G SPECS AND FEATURES:
OPPO A93 5G measures 162.9 x 74.7 x 8.4mm and weighs 188 grams. The phone has a 6.5-inch LTPS LCD panel with a perforated design. The screen supports FHD+ resolution, 20:9 aspect ratio, DCI-P3 color gamut, 405ppi pixel density and 90Hz refresh rate.
The phone has an 8-megapixel front camera. Its rear case has a triple camera system, including a 48-megapixel main camera with f/1.7 aperture, a 2-megapixel portrait lens and a 2-megapixel macro camera.
The Snapdragon 480 SoC comes with 8 GB RAM. The phone comes with 128 GB / 256 GB of internal storage space. It has a microSD card slot for additional storage. There is a 5,000mAh battery inside the device that supports 18W fast charging.
For safety, it has a side fingerprint scanner and face unlock function. Other features available on the device include the Android 11 operating system based on ColorOS 11.1, dual SIM cards, 5G, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, USB-C and 3.5 mm audio jack.
OPPO A93 PRICING AND AVAILABILITY:
The 8GB + 256GB version of OPPO A93 5G is priced at 1,999 yuan (~$309). The price of 8GB + 128GB is not yet known. Its colors are elegant silver, dazzling black and aurora. There is no news in other markets that A93 5G will be received.
