OPPO is one of many popular smartphone manufacturers in China. The company is best known for its high-end mid-range and high-end mobile phones, which are mainly targeted at offline channels with a lot of advertising. It is expected to release its next-generation flagship model in the form of the OPPO Find X3 series in March. In addition, the company may also launch another device that has passed two necessary certifications.
Earlier this month, Indian technology influencer Mukul Sharma revealed that a new OPPO smartphone model CPH2219 has passed the certification of Indonesia’s TKDN regulatory agency. Now, almost two weeks later, the same mobile phone has also passed the 33W fast charging certification of the China Quality Certification Center (CQC).
Based on these two certifications, we can expect OPPO CPH2219 to be launched in Indonesia and China. The phone can also be used in other regions, but so far we are not sure. Most importantly, the official brand of the device remains a mystery.
However, once this phone is certified by FCC or NBTC, we may learn soon. In other words, the most interesting thing about this smartphone is that it will support 33W fast charging. For those who don’t know, Oujia Group (OPPO, OnePlus, realme) does not have a smartphone with this charging speed.
However, it is worth noting that the 33W OnePlus charger has been certified by TÜVRheinland in December 2020. Therefore, although the upcoming OPPO CPH2219 may be the company’s first 33W fast charging smartphone, it may not be the first smartphone in the group. Because OnePlus can also release phones with the same technology.
