Yesterday, a pair of OPPO Reno5 Pro models that were allegedly to be launched were listed in the database of TENAA, the Chinese telecom regulator. The list lists some of the main specifications of the device, but lacks the usual TENAA images.
TENAA has now uploaded an image of the claimed Reno5 Pro 5G, which actually appeared under the model name OPPO PDSM00 / PDST00. We can’t clearly show all the functions of the display, but there seems to be a curved display. The phone may have a non-notch design or a perforated design.
The back is very obvious, indicating that the device will have a Quad camera setup, which is stacked in a vertically aligned module on the back.
The list shows camera sensors, including a 64MP main sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide camera and two 2MP sensors, which may be used for macro and depth photography.
The TENAA list also shows that Reno5 Pro 5G will be equipped with a 6.55-inch AMOLED display with a FHD+ resolution of 2400×1080 pixels. The size of this phone is 159.7×73.2×7.6mm and the weight is 173g. The device will also pack a 4,250mAh battery.
In other respects, Oppo is also said to be working on three Reno5 devices, including Reno5, Reno5 Pro and a third model that may be called Reno5 Pro Plus.
One of the models will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G chipset, while the Pro model will be powered by the Dimensity 1000+ chipset, and the third model will use the Snapdragon 865 chip.
Taking into account the leaked details and the continuous influx of rumors about the series, OPPO is expected to release the Reno5 series soon.
