A few days ago, OPPO officially launched the new generation Reno series smartphones on the Chinese market – the OPPO Reno5 line. The flagship device on offer – OPPO Reno5 Pro + is now available for purchase in China.
It is priced at 3,999 yuan, and for the 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage model, its price is approximately US$612. There is also a 12GB RAM model, priced at 4499 yuan (approximately US$689). The device has two color options-black and white.
According to the specifications, the smartphone has a 6.5-inch Full HD+ curved display that can provide a refresh rate of 90Hz.
Under the hood, it is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 chipset, with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.
The highlight of the phone is the camera department, which has a quad camera setup on the back. There is a 50MP Sony IMX766 main sensor, a 16MP ultra-wide-angle lens, a 13MP telephoto lens and a 2MP maco lens.
On the front, a 32MP buckle is installed in the perforated hole of the device. In addition, the phone is also equipped with a three-dimensional VC liquid cooling system and supports the new GPA-AI frequency conversion technology of Hyper Boost 4.0.
In the software department, the smartphone runs the latest Android 11 operating system, on top of which is the company’s own ColorOS 11 custom user interface. There is also a game mode that provides a 4D experience.
The connection options on the device include 5G, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/6, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, NFC and USB Type-C ports. The device is powered by a 4,500mAh battery that supports SuperVOOC 2.0 65W fast charging technology and reverse charging.
