POCO M3 SMART PHONE TO LAUNCH IN TAIWAN TOMORROW.

POCO, which started out as a sub-brand of Xiaomi, confirmed today that the company will host its launch event on January 21, which will be broadcast online. During the event, the company will officially present the POCO M3 smartphone.

This is the same as the release date of the POCO M3 smartphone in Indonesia. For those who don’t know, this smartphone was first launched in November last year and is the successor to the POCO M2, starting at $129.

This phone is equipped with a 6.53-inch IPS LCD water drop display, and offers Full HD + screen resolution and Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The phone also passed TUV Rheinland’s low blue light certification.

The device under the hood is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 SoC with a clock frequency of 2.0GHz. It is equipped with 4GB of RAM and up to 128GB of internal storage. We expect that the phone will provide multiple variants based on Taiwan’s memory configuration.

Coming to the camera department, the device has a triple camera setup on the back, consisting of a 48MP f/1.79 main camera. It is coupled with a 2MP macro camera and another 2MP depth sensor. There is an 8MP f/2.0 selfie shooter on the front.

As for the software, the device is pre-installed with Android 10 and the company’s own MIUI 12 custom user interface is installed on top of it. This phone is powered by a battery with a capacity of 6,000mAh and supports 18W charging.
