Qualcomm has announced it latest fast charging technology known as quick Charge 5. From what Qualcomm has shared, quick Charge 5 is a serious improvement from quick Charge 4.
Qualcomm has revealed that quick Charge 5 supports 100W charging. With this, users will have the option to charge their phones from 0 to 50% in only 5 minutes and 0 to 100% in less than 15 minutes. This is done while keeping the battery 10°C cooler.
The tests led by Qualcomm depend on a 4,500 mAh battery so that is the limit that can be charged to 50% in 5 minutes and to 100% in under 15 minutes.
