REDMI K40 WITH SNAPDRAGON 870 SPOTTED ON GEEKBENCH.

New reports shows that the models M2012K11AC and M2012K11C belong to Redmi K40 and Redmi K40 Pro smartphones. The Pro model is expected to be delivered with the Snapdragon 888 mobile platform, but it is not clear which processor will power the K40. Some reports claim that the vanilla may be equipped with Snapdragon 870, while other reports say it may be equipped with Dimensity 1100/1200 or the upcoming Snapdragon 7 series chips. Redmi K40 has passed the benchmark test platform and appeared on Geekbench to showcase its processor.

On Geekbench, Redmi K40 appeared with its M2012K11AC model and “alioth” code name. The listing shows that this is a 1.80GHz Qualcomm processor, 8 GB RAM and Android 11 OS.

The source code of the Geekbench list shows that the Qualcomm chip can reach a maximum speed of 3.19GHz. This indicates that the device may have a Snapdragon 870 mobile platform. The score is 1016 points in the single-core test and 3332 points in the multi-core test.

Redmi K40 and Redmi K40 Pro are expected to have the same specifications, and they are expected to differ mainly in the two departments of SoC and camera. Both phones are equipped with four-way cameras, but its configuration is unclear. The Redmi K40 series is scheduled to be officially launched in China on February 25.
