Redmi’s official list has confirmed that the Redmi Note 9 5G launch event to be held in China on November 26 has three main highlights. Redmi general manager Lu Weibing will host the talk show, mainly talking about new products.
The screenshot of the official list shows that the company will also launch new smart products at the event. Since Weibing laughed at the arrival of Redmi Watch earlier this month, it seems that Redmi’s first smartwatch may be unveiled with the Note 9 5G series.
Redmi Watch obtained MIIT certification in September, and its model is REDMIWT01. In the same month, the lite version of the Xiaomi watch was found to be REDMIWT02 in the UL (Demko) certification. Since the models of the two are similar, it is possible to use the Xiaomi Mi Watch Lite mark to provide Redmi Watch in markets outside of China.
Last month, Xiaomi Mi Watch Lite received the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) certification. The list shows that Mi Watch Lite has a 1.4-inch square color display. The screen supports automatic brightness function.
Mi Watch Lite offers 50ATM water resistance and multiple fitness modes, including 24-hour heart rate monitoring. The device is backed by a 230mAh battery that supports 5W charging.
The smart watch is also equipped with built-in GPS and Bluetooth 5.1 connectivity.
Now, like Redmi Watch, the same watch may be launched in China, so the packaging specifications of the two devices are exactly the same. Currently, there is no news about its pricing.
