Recent reports show that the Reno5 series may be launched on December 10. Presumably, the lineup includes three devices including Reno5, Reno5 Pro and Reno5 Pro+. OPPO’s Weibo post today suggests that the Reno5 series will be released on December 10.
A leaked photo, showing the rear design of Reno5, is now patrolling on Weibo. The gradient-colored rear of the phone has a four-camera setup in the upper left corner, and a “RENO GLOW” trademark on the right. The overall back design of the phone is no different from the previous model.
The Reno4 5G series, which debuted in China earlier this year, uses an extremely attractive diamond cut design. OPPO’s Weibo post may suggest that the Reno5 5G series will also adopt a similar design.
Reno5 5G series phones are expected to be equipped with a 90Hz FHD + OLED panel with punch-hole design. Reno5 5G can be equipped with 6.43-inch flat-panel displays, while Reno5 Pro 5G and Reno5 Pro + 5G can accommodate 6.55-inch displays with curved edges.
Android 11 based on ColorOS 11 may be pre-installed on the device.
Reno5, Reno5 Pro and Reno5 Pro+ could be powered by Snapdragon 765G, Dimensity 1000+ and Snapdragon 865 respectively.
These three products may have 4,300mAh, 4,350mAh and 4,500mAh batteries, and have 65W fast charging support. Reno5 5G trio may be equipped with a 32-megapixel selfie camera.
The four-lens setup of Reno5 and Reno5 Pro 5G may include a 64-megapixel Sony IMX686 main lens, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens, a 2-megapixel depth sensor, and a 2-megapixel macro lens.
The four-lens setup of Reno5 Pro + 5G may include a Sony IMX7XX main lens, a 16-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, a 12-megapixel telephoto lens, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor.
