Since the past few months, the rumors have been endlessly claiming that Samsung will announce the Galaxy S21 series on January 14. Today, the South Korean company finally issued an official confirmation that the next Galaxy Unpacked 2021 launch event will be held on January 14, 10 am Eastern Standard Time.

The PR released by the brand did not reveal any specifications of the Galaxy S21 series. It doesn’t even mention the nickname of the phone that will be announced next week.

However, many reports indicate that the next batch of flagship products of the South Korean tech giant will be called Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21 + and Galaxy S21 Ultra.

The release poster teased the Galaxy S21’s camera module. Leaked renderings show that the Galaxy S21 model’s camera housing is integrated with the frame, which gives them a unique appeal.

Recent reports show that Galaxy S21, S21+ and S21 Ultra are equipped with 6.2-inch, 6.7-inch and 6.8-inch S-AMOLED panels with punching design, respectively.

The Ultra variant will support QHD+ resolution, and the other will provide FHD+ resolution. These phones will also provide 120Hz refresh rate support and an ultrasonic display fingerprint scanner. They are expected to hold 4,000mAh, 4,800mAh and 5,000mAh batteries respectively.

Galaxy S21 and S21+ will have a triple camera setting of 12 megapixels (main) + 12 megapixels (ultra wide) + 64 megapixels (telephoto).

The Ultra model will be equipped with a four-lens setup of 108 pixels (main) + 12 pixels (ultra wide) + 10 pixels (telephoto) + 10 pixels (telephoto). The Ultra model may be equipped with a 40-megapixel selfie snapshot, while the S21 and S21 Plus will provide a 10-megapixel selfie camera on the front.

Depending on the region, the Galaxy S21 series may be equipped with Snapdragon 888 or Exynos 2100 SoC. Samsung is expected to announce the release of Galaxy Buds Pro earbuds along with the Galaxy S21 series on January 14.
