WHATSAPP SET TO LAUNCH MULTIPLE DEVICES SUPPORT FEATURE.

The rumours of WhatsApp adding support for multiple devices, so that users could use the same phone number on different devices, is not new. However, with recent rumors online we might be able to see the feature sooner or later.

WABetaInfo, a blog that keeps track of any new features being added on WhatsApp, first reported about the possibility of this new feature in 2019.

Even though users have anticipated for this feature for some time now with multiple reports online teasing it possibility we are yet to see it. However that might change if we are to go by the rumors we are seeing online.

In WhatsApp beta for Android version 2.20.196.8, submitted as of late to Google’s Play Beta Program. WhatsApp has, at last, included multidevice support. The feature is accessible under new option in the app called Linked devices.

Under the section , which can be found in the menu settings, WhatsApp users will have the option to manage their linked devices.

A brief description inside the screen for management of Linked Devices shows that you will have the option to connect your WhatsApp account with your PC/Mac through a browser , and Facebook Portal. Obviously, we foresee support for other cell phones also.

This new feature will all users link devices to their current WhatsApp account, the same way WhatsApp does when you log in to your account from a PC or Mac via a browser.

The official date for the launch of this feature is unknown since it is still in it testing stage, but we expect to see it soon.
