Xiaomi has just released a brand new notebook in India. The latest laptop is a new addition to the existing Mi Notebook 14 lineup and includes a 10th generation Intel Core i5 processor and an integrated 720p HD webcam.
The Mi Notebook 14 (IC) is the latest addition to the Chinese tech giant’s laptop range in the Indian market, with the integrated camera being the most noticeable change.
For those who don’t know, the Mi Notebook 14 series, which was launched in 2020, had minimal bezels and came with an external connectable webcam.
However, with the new launch, Xiaomi has built the camera into the laptop body. The new laptop starts at INR 43,999 (around US $ 600) and is available from the company’s official website or major online stores such as Amazon and Flipkart.
As Radhu Reddy, Mi India Business Director, says: “As the number of home-work and laptop users seeking uncompromising performance increases, at Mi India we are focusing on making this desire more accessible.”
He also added that “After collecting significant customer feedback, we are now expanding our Mi Notebook 14 range with a more convenient integrated webcam above the display. We also keep the 10th Gen Intel CometLake processors in the new devices, because they provide excellent performance for thin and light laptops and provide all-day battery life. ”
In other words, the internal specs are mostly identical to the Mi Notebook 14 series that was launched last year. Under the hood, an Intel Core i5-10210U processor is offered, which is paired with an integrated Intel UHD 620 graphics card or NVIDIA GeForce MX250 mobile graphics card.
The display is still a 14-inch FHD panel with 16: 9 anti-glare coating and 178-degree wide viewing angles. When it comes to memory, Xiaomi offers 8GB of DDR4 RAM and up to 512GB of SSD storage. The laptop weighs just 1.5 kilograms and provides up to 10 hours of battery life with a 46WWH battery.
