Xiaomi India plans to launch a new smartphone on January 5, 2021. According to the trailer, the phone will be equipped with a 108MP main camera. In addition, according to the camera layout, the device may just be the rumored Mi 10i, which is said to be the re-labeled Redmi Note9 Pro 5G.
Xiaomi’s sub-brand Redmi launched the exclusive Redmi Note 9 series in China in late November. Redmi Note 9 4G is one of the three devices in the series, and it has already launched Redmi 9 Power in India with an additional 2MP macro camera.
Similarly, based on multiple findings, Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G is expected to debut in India as Mi 10i. Now, although Xiaomi India has not confirmed the official brand of the phone, it has revealed that it will officially announce the phone in the country on January 5.
This means that Mi 10i will be the first smartphone launched in Xiaomi India in 2021. In terms of specifications, we want it to be the same as the original Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G, and different from Mi 10T Lite, which is basically the same phone with a 64MP main camera
Last but not least, according to the leak, Mi 10i will be available in 6GB + 128GB and 8GB + 128GB storage versions as well as black, blue and orange-green gradient color options.
