Several reports claim that Samsung will launch the Galaxy S21 series in January 2021. The S21 series will be driven by Snapdragon 875 / Exynos 2100. Xiaomi is expected to launch the first mobile phone with Snapdragon 875 technology in China. Therefore, the Chinese company is likely to also launch the Mi 11 series in January. A fresh leak indicates that the arrival of Mi 11 Pro will greatly improve the display department.
A tipster claimed that there is a high version of a smartphone that supports four-channel HD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. This seems to be a major upgrade since the Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro, which debuted earlier this year, supports Full HD+ resolution and 90Hz refresh rate.
The leak also mentioned that the screen has a punch hole in the upper left corner. The display seems to have curved edges, but it does not seem to be curved like the waterfall screens on Huawei Mate 40 Pro and P40 Pro.
The leak indicates that the reminder may be talking about the upcoming flagship phone. Unlike the flagship phones of Samsung, Huawei, OnePlus and OPPO that support Quad HD+ resolution, Xiaomi’s flagship smartphones only support Full HD+ resolution.
The marketer recently claimed that Xiaomi’s flagship phone to be launched in 2021 will support four-channel HD+ resolution. Since he used the term “high version”, he might talk about the Xiaomi Mi 11 Pro in the upcoming Mi 11 series.
Other details of the Xiaomi Mi 11 series are currently under confidentiality. Since Xiaomi and Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra have launched 120W fast charging technology together, the Mi 11 series may support 100W or 120W fast charging.
