Popular Online streaming platform YouTube has pledged a donation of $1 million to the Center For Policy Equity in “solidarity against racism and violence”.
The Online Video streaming platform owned by Google made this known in a tweet that they would be donating the said amount to support the efforts to address social injustices such as racism and violence.
We stand in solidarity against racism and violence. When members of our community hurt, we all hurt. We’re pledging $1M in support of efforts to address social injustice.

YouTube didn’t specify if the donation was in relation to the case of George Floyd who was murdered by corpse in Minnesota, that has since caused protest around the World, calling for end to racism.
The Center for Policing Equity is a nonprofit research think tank made up of research scientists and race and equity experts. The organization works with police departments using data to address and change discriminatory practices.
