China’s ZTE has launched the first Wi-Fi 6 set-top box in its own country-ZXV10 B860AV6. With built-in support for Wi-Fi 6 technology, it can provide high-speed Internet access as well as high stability and low latency.
In addition, it also supports Wi-Fi 6 transmission QoS solutions and intelligent network solutions for the entire house. The device is designed to provide users with a clear and smooth viewing experience.
The ZTE set-top box uses a black square box with sharp corners. At the top is the ZTE brand. The company also shared that the device also won the 2019 iF Design Award.
This development was carried out shortly after the company announced the industry’s first 5G converged set-top box. It provides a three-in-one design, providing a gigabit gateway, router and set-top box.
For those who don’t know, Wi-Fi 6 or 802.11ax is the new or sixth-generation wireless LAN standard. It has certain advantages, including high bandwidth, low latency and multiple access.
ZTE uses this technology in this set-top box, which provides ultra-high-definition video, zero-latency games and ultra-rich applications to provide a new user experience.
